And Free Resources for Giving Circles
Join Grapevine and Lever for Change to go behind the scenes of Mackenzie Scott’s recent Yield Giving Open Call and learn how Lever for Change manages a nonprofit evaluation process. This session will share a model for Giving Circles to discover and evaluate nonprofits for their own granting nominations. Attendees will also learn how Lever for Change can be a resource for sourcing vetted small, local organizations across the US.

MacArthur Foundation, Lever for Change has influenced over $2.2billion in grants to date and provided support to more than 500 organizations.
About Yield Giving Open Call: In March 2023, Yield Giving launched an Open Call for community-led, community-focused organizations whose explicit purpose is to advance the voices and opportunities of individuals and families of meager or modest means, and groups who have met with discrimination and other systemic obstacles. Community-led, community-focused nonprofit organizations from across the United States and U.S. Territories were invited to apply and share the impact they have had on the abilities of individuals and families in their communities to achieve substantive improvement in their well-being.
